Lesson #174 You Never Have to Let Fruit Go to Waste {Homemade Fruit Leather Baby!}

February 9, 2012

There are some things you learn in life that are just priceless... like the fact that you never have to let fruit go to waste. ALSO priceless is the taste of fruit leather... should this be legal? AND you don't even need a  fancy pansy food dehydrator.

Right before anything goes bad I peel/slice it up, put it in a zip lock bag and freeze it! Then it just sits waiting for a beautiful smoothie to be made... or this awesome fruit leather...

How to Make Homemade Fruit Leather (base recipe)
  • 3-4 cups of fresh or frozen fruit
  • sugar or honey (optional)
